Looking forward to the start of Kindergarten can be exciting and even a little worrisome for young children and their families. Click the title for information for new Kindergarten students and their families as we prepare for the next school year.

Our new breakfast program has kicked off and it has been a huge success! It is so nice to see all the students come in before class , have some breakfast and visit with their friends before starting their day. We have decided to run our breakfast program two days a week, every Tuesday and Wednesday. A few of our SCC moms have been so generous with their time to come in and serve our kids a free breakfast. We are looking to form a breakfast committee, consisting of volunteers who are willing to come in when they are able to help serve. Thanks to Vanessa and Katrina, who have offered to head this committee. This is open to parents, grandparents, community members, etc. If you would be interested in helping out, please contact the school at 634-9257, and Vanessa and Katrina will organize a list of volunteers and schedule. Special thanks to Future Four Agro for sponsoring our new breakfast program!

Public Schools of Saskatchewan will be recognizing public school student groups or classes that support citizenship or character building within their schools or community by providing annual student Citizenship Awards. Student groups or classes at elementary and high school will be recognized for their contributions.

There are three $1,000 awards for grade 1 to 8 and three $1,000 awards for grades 9 to 12. Apply by April 15, 2023. Click the title for application information and to read about last year's award winners.
